Digg is a social news site. It relies on users to submit recent content that other users may find relevant at a given moment; members of the community then vote on what is most relevant at the time. If other users like the content, then they can "digg" (vote for) it. If they do not like it, they can "bury" (vote against) it. The more diggs a page gets, the higher it ranks on Digg. The most widely dugg articles appear on the Digg home page, which gets a lot of traffic.

For eCommerce websites, there are only two calls-to-action that actually generate sales and drive profits: Add to Cart and Complete Checkout. While we at Goodbye Crutches routinely A/B tested other aspects of our website that move visitors through the process, we tended to regard these two most important buttons as set in stone.
When Tenon Tours joined HubSpot, we were told that a good way to generate more TOFU (top of the funnel) leads was to provide a Marketing Offer -- some kind of eBook, eGuide, or whitepaper that qualified leads would want to download. We knew that it would take us time to create this kind of content, so we put it on our to-do list and moved on. Two months later it occurred to us that we already had this content built, and it was just already online.
Before we started using HubSpot, the SAP BW Consulting website had been live for three years but wasn't yet a really effective marketing tool. Six months ago we were only getting about 200 visits per month. So our first goal with HubSpot was to get more visits, out of which we hoped to identify more prospects.
Happy Leap Year everybody! February has twenty-nine days this month, so that’s one extra day to help you reach your lead and customer goals. To celebrate, HubSpot has some pretty sweet webinars on tap for this month. Don't miss our advanced paid search webinar series and call to action webinar series, both ready to go for February.
Everyone loves a great story. You start reading and you just don’t want to put it down until you’re done. Everyone has a great story to share. How would you like to share your remarkable inbound marketing story with other inbound marketers?
YouTube is the world's largest video sharing website. Visitors can search for and watch videos on nearly an unlimited number of subjects. Although most of the videos are user-generated, more and more professional videos are beginning to appear on the website. It's easy to publish a video on YouTube, just sign up and you're ready to go. If you think of the popular 90's show, America's Funniest Home Videos, you can quickly imagine what most of the content is like.
Twitter is a tool for "micro-blogging" or posting very short updates, comments or thoughts. Twitter was designed to be very compatible with mobile phones through text messages, each update is limited to 140 characters.
Now HubSpot customers who use Unbounce to create, publish, and A/B test their landing pages can easily integrate their Unbounce work with their HubSpot software by installing the new Unbounce app in the HubSpot app marketplace.
Facebook is a social networking site where users can connect with each other and with various forms of content and applications. Facebook now claims over 500 million active users and that number continues to grow steadily. It is the third most trafficked website in the world (behind Google and Yahoo) and the most heavily trafficked social media site in the world.
